Judith R. Dotzman

President and CEO

Judy launched her commitment to SPIN as a college intern over 40 years ago realizing her immediate connection to SPIN’s mission, culture and values. Judy began in the field as a Direct Support Professional and then as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Judy holds a Master of Education from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University. Judy has been supporting the growth and development of people with intellectual and developmental disability and autism since her employment at SPIN in 1986, a nationally recognized, premier provider of human services and a top workplace.   

Judy has dedicated herself to a career leading SPIN to achieve success in the leadership and management leadership of community-based human service organizations and professional workforce development, providing ensuring and leading quality, best practice services and supports.  

Judy was selected to succeed the CEO and promoted in July 2023 and subsequently now holds the position of President & CEO.  She is a PAR Board Member and serves as Co-Chair of the Residential Continuum Committee. In addition, she serves on the Board of William Penn Human Services and Temple University’s Advisory Council.  Judy served as President of the Philadelphia Alliance of Community Service Providers and Chair of the Intellectual Disability and Autism Domain and has served on ANCOR’s Foundation Board, Community College of Philadelphia, Arcadia University, and Holy Family University’s Advisory Councils.  

Judy’s dedication to her work highlights her investment in leadership at all levels while developing a quality workforce and her deep belief in the power of possibility and that partnering and investing in people can provide unique opportunities for everyone to reach their fullest potential, share their strengths with others and create a culture of belonging.
