mission
This is family. This is community. This is resilience. This is SPIN.
A Legacy for Years to Come
Since 1970, our philosophy has remained centered on the commitment that every person deserves to achieve their fullest potential and we continue to value, respect and include everyone! Even the smallest contribution makes a difference and helps us sustain quality services for people with disabilities.
Annual Membership
SPIN Membership is a decades-old tradition of charitable giving, inspired by our founders. The first members of SPIN were hardworking parents and teachers who pooled their resources to establish the organization’s first summer camp. SPIN members support critical services and facilities that are not completely covered by our funders such as:
- Playparks where children can learn and grow
- Home modifications that allow adults with disability to age with dignity in their communities
- Self-care and celebration nights for families of children with autism
- Career-preparation for teens with autism and intellectual disability
- High Quality Children Services
Membership is more than an annual gift. Membership connects you to a community of people who believe that people of all abilities deserve to live a Life of Possibilities. We are proud to be a part of this journey and ask that you join us. Please consider becoming a member today so that the next generation will see your name as part of our rich history.
The only thing that has changed over the years is the growing number of people we support and the evolution of opportunities and possibilities for them. Our vision remains the same: A world that values everyone!
Gifts in Honor and Memory
You can make a gift in honor or memory of someone in your life for a remembrance or a special occasion. A beautiful card will be sent to a recipient of your choice. For questions contact Caitlyn Diviny at cdiviny@spininc.org.

Events
Fall Ball Classic
A kick-off to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Week each year, SPIN’s Fall Ball Classic is a 3-on-3 basketball tournament held at The Renegade’s Kelly Bolish Gymnasium to support adults with disability in SPIN’s Residential Services program. A clinic is also offered to adults with disability supported by SPIN to help improve the knowledge and game of basketball while having a great day full of fun.
Golf
For more than 25 years, the SPIN Golf Tournament has invited players to tee-off for possibilities. Over 100 golfers join SPIN at The Bucks Club to play in a scramble format tournament. The day ends with dinner, awards, and prizes to top golfers.
Partners
This marquee fundraising gala celebrates special partners in our community that help SPIN create a “life of possibilities” for the children and adults it supports. Guests enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, and auction all to raise funds for children, adults and families supported by SPIN.
