SPIN provides a variety of community-based support and service options for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our team of professionals uses a person-focused, outcomes-based approach to support each individual to live a meaningful, inclusive life of their choice. Funding is provided through enrollment in Consolidated Waiver or Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) Waiver.

Lifesharing:
Lifesharing is a residential support opportunity to live with a family. SPIN matches those who choose this lifestyle with a family or individual who opens their home and shares their life in a positive and supportive way.
The Lifesharing partner is screened, trained, and supervised by SPIN to actively support the individual’s lifestyle choices and existing family relationships and supports new relationships and meaningful activities as part of a family.
SPIN Supported Homes: Community Living Arrangements, Behavioral Health Arrangements, Supportive Living Homes
SPIN provides and supports homes in the community for up to three people who live together and receive person-centered supports that best meet their needs for a healthy, engaged life. Based on each person’s needs assessment, direct support will be provided for up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by fully trained Direct Support Professionals,a residential management team, Health & Behavioral staff, Therapeutic Recreation professionals and all related operational supports.

SPIN Community Participation Supports (CPS) provides opportunities and support during the day for active engagement in the community and to participate as valued members of their community. With community inclusion and employment as the primary goals, these supports flexibly wrap around each person’s everyday life. People participate in a wide range of integrated activities that interest them and build on their preferences and strengths while reflecting their desired outcomes. Through CPS, each individual develops and sustains valued social roles and relationships, builds natural supports, increases independence, experiences meaningful community participation, and is fully included in the community.

We support people with disability to discover their unique strengths and interests, explore potential career paths, define their career goals, and match them with right-fit community jobs. SPIN also supports the business community to be more inclusive of applicants and community members with varied abilities to create and support a more diverse workforce.
