Anthony

If you’ve ever met Anthony, I’m sure you know how much he loves the Philadelphia Eagles. He is what you call a die-hard Eagles fan and won’t let anyone forget it. 

During football season, it is likely he is decked out in eagles gear and can talk your ear off about The Birds. Anthony loves all Philadelphia sports, but the Eagles have his heart. He takes two things very seriously, his job and the Eagles. Anthony has been working at PJP for many years and has been celebrated with numerous awards for his strong work ethic and performance at work. He has a “can do attitude” which is impressive and inspiring to both his colleagues and customers. Any given work week, Anthony can be seen outside in the cold or heat pushing carts or stacking shelves at PJP Marketplace. If anyone mentions the Eagles he is likely to share his point of view

One thing that people may not know about Anthony is that he has a heart of Gold. Each year, SPIN ensures that every person receives gifts for the holidays. For the past two years, Anthony has graciously declined to receive a gift and instead expressed a desire to help others in need during the holidays. Last year, Anthony purchased necessary items for the homeless residing in a local shelter. This year, he purchased a holiday gift for one of the individuals residing in a SPIN home.  It is very rare to see an act of selflessness and strong desire to help others from a young man these days and Anthony shows everyone what it means to care deeply about others and give back to the community. So next time you’re at PJP or see him somewhere in the community drop a “GO BIRDS” his way and you will see his beautiful soul through his smile and his passionate Eagles dedication!
