Meet Eric

Dreams to Reality.

Shortly after he began pursuing his dream job at Dorney Park, Eric tragically lost his mother, due to COVID-19.  From his tremendous loss, he gained strength and courage to pursue employment and help his family.  Eric knew it would not be easy – he needed support, accommodations, and specialized transportation.  Despite the obstacles, Eric persevered.  Knowing his mother would be proud, and with the support of his father, Eric’s Support Coordinator and his Employment Specialist, Eric landed a job.  In his Dorney Park job interview, he used his best self-advocacy skills to make a positive impression.  He nailed it and was hired on the spot!  Eric’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and customer service excellence was evident from day one.  

On his first day of employment, Eric single-handedly managed the admissions gate and ensured a positive experience for all. Eric ROCKED the summer season at Dorney, never missing a day, and he is advocating to extend his employment beyond seasonal work.
