Jennifer Hughes
Jenny’s relationship with SPIN began as a teenager working at Camp SPIN as a junior counselor. It was there that she made lifelong friends and felt the joy of helping children and adults supported by SPIN. In 1996 Jenny achieved a B.A. in Public Administration from Saint Joseph’s University and at the same time returned to SPIN. Initially serving as the Special Assistant to the Corporate Office team. She later developed the role of Chief of Staff, supporting SPIN’s Executive Team by leading special projects, managing the corporate staff, and assisting the entire management team to achieve the organization’s strategic goals. Through Jenny’s project oversight, she has helped SPIN implement new program initiatives, develop new facilities, and grow SPIN’s fundraising and community relations efforts.
In March 2019 Jenny was promoted to Corporate Officer for Public Relations and Communications, with the responsibility of sharing the SPIN’s mission and stories. Along with enhancing SPIN’s brand, reputation, and image. In this role she leads SPIN’s external and internal communication strategies and plans, that promote key initiatives and programs, Jenny hopes to continue to raise awareness for SPIN and its role in the community.
Jenny is proud of the work she has done over her 25 plus years at SPIN and is dedicated to continuing the legacy of a caring community.
