SPIN’s Four Early Childhood Centers Redesignated as 4 STARS!

All four SPIN Early Childhood Centers are achieving the highest quality and proudly dedicated to supporting young children’s healthy learning and development.

Pennsylvania has a rigorous quality system to promote quality and determine which early childhood education centers provide children with a high-quality education in a safe, supportive, quality environment.

This spring, Pennsylvania conducted their reviews of SPIN’s centers that were due for STARS re-designation. The STARS system stands for Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources, and Supports. At each STARS level, programs strive to achieve standards in four key areas: staff education, learning environment, leadership/management, and family/community partnerships. The higher the STAR level, up to 4 STARS, the higher the quality.
