Leading service provider placed seven in large company category & honored CEO Kathy McHale for outstanding leadership
PHILADELPHIA (APRIL 19, 2019) – SPIN CEO Kathy McHale has been honored by The Philadelphia Inquirer’s prestigious 2019 Leadership Award for large companies and led CEO to its 10th consecutive Top Workplaces honor. The company was ranked seven in the Top Workplaces large company category. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

Alongside being named a Top Workplace, SPIN President & CEO Kathy McHale was honored as the 2019 Leadership Award recipient in the large company category. She was honored with this award based on employee response through the anonymous survey. McHale has worked for SPIN since 1983, and took the reins of CEO in 2011. Under McHale’s leadership, SPIN has been named an Autism Center for Excellence, and also has been designated a Star Four preschool program by the Department of Education. McHale leads with the SPIN pillars, focusing on People First, Professionalism, Performance Excellence and Productivity, and is committed to providing high-quality services for people with disability, as well as its children in its inclusive preschool programs.
