Science of Sour Dough
This month our Sourdough Creations class has successfully baked their first loafs of bread here at SPIN Community and Fitness. Our individuals conducted a science experiment to see how different amounts of sugar and yeast react to create varying reactions in balloons. We also fed our sourdough starter, made sourdough bread, and completed our meal with some healthy hummus and cheese sauce to dip. Sourdough Creations will be a new biweekly class made up of feeding and keeping our sourdough starter alive, making different doughs, and using our bread to create meals from scratch. We are all excited to try what the Sourdough Creations come up with next.
