6 ABC Spotlights Three SPIN Superstars and Their Journey to Cross the Finish Line

October 12, 2018 (Philadelphia) – 6 ABC Health Reporter Ali Gorman spotlighted the running journey of Justin and Anthony, SPIN supported adults. Working with their Direct Support Professional (DSP) and friend, Edward “Gee” Culmer, Justin and Anthony have been training for several SPIN 5Ks. As a DSP, Gee is there for the men, providing hands-on care for adults with disability from getting up and ready in the morning, to cooking meals and assisting with medications. However, Gee’s work goes above and beyond the call of duty to help them reach their goals. He has Justin and Anthony training about 3 times a week, believes in them, and will do anything to ensure they reach their goals.
