Delaney
Meet Delaney, Delaney has been a part of SPIN since Pre-K and has been involved in many different programs over the years. These include the afterschool, ABA & behavioral support, social skills groups, outpatient therapy, and most recently, the CAPS program. Through each of these experiences, Delaney has worked hard to overcome social, emotional, and academic challenges. She has grown tremendously since first receiving her diagnosis.
She is a determined and motivated young woman who is currently attending a highly competitive, college preparatory high school. Delaney recently found out she was hired for her first job and will begin this summer! She is extremely grateful for all the services, staff members, and support SPIN has provided for her to get to this point. Along the way, Delaney has built strong and meaningful friendships and continues to show how much she has grown both socially and personally.
As the oldest of four siblings, Delaney takes pride in being someone her younger siblings can look up to. She is also very creative and enjoys expressing herself through arts and crafts, sketching, and painting. When Delaney thinks about her future, she hopes for a life filled with meaning, laughter, happiness, and surrounded by the people she loves.
