SPIN Named 2016 Top Workplace!

On Sunday March 20th, Philly.com and The Philadelphia Inquirer published Top Workplaces 2016 – a list of the best places to work in the Philadelphia region. We hope many of you had the chance to read this special section in the paper or online, because we are thrilled to share that SPIN has again been named to this distinguished list. This is our seventh year in attaining this extremely important recognition!

Being a top workplace is important to us, because we care about our employees. Our employees make the difference in our people-first work. The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from an independent, confidential employee survey completed a few months ago. Thousands of companies strive to be Top Workplaces, and only 100 are selected each year. SPIN was the #1 nonprofit and #12 overall in the large company category.

At the heart of our culture is a commitment to develop people and to provide a consistently high-quality experience for employees and the people we serve. As a result, our workforce is thriving; we have become the organization of choice for families seeking services in the Greater Philadelphia area. Our President, Kathy Brown McHale explains, “We can’t expect our employees to be people-first if we don’t invest in them and show them we care about them. At SPIN we are all linked together by a mission that has tremendous meaning – and it takes great people to achieve it.”
